When to call if you are going into labor:

• If you don’t feel right, you can always call us!
• In case of heavy bleeding – A small amount of bleeding is normal.
• If you have regular contractions – Call us if you have contractions every 3 to 5 minutes for an hour, lasting about 60 seconds each.
• In case of bleeding or contractions before 37 weeks – Always call us!
• If your water breaks

Pay close attention to the color of the amniotic fluid and try to catch some if possible. If your water breaks during the day, call us as soon as you can. If your water breaks at night and the fluid is clear, call us the following morning. If the fluid is green or if we’ve advised you to call immediately when your water breaks, call us directly, day or night.
