Stuitligging
In a breech position, the baby is positioned with its head at the top of the uterus and its bottom facing downward. Most babies are positioned with their head facing down. A breech position after the 35th week occurs in about 4% of pregnancies. Since this makes a natural delivery more challenging, if your baby is still in a breech position at 35 weeks, we can try to turn it (external version). This can be done during a special version consultation at the Jeroen Bosch Hospital. If this applies to you, we will be happy to provide more information about it during the consultation. You can find more information on this topic in the brochures below and at www.stuitlig.nl
